You will be charged an additional 40% from the total ticket price you purchased – if you checked-in before departure schedule – meaning, if your travel schedule is 2 days from now and you checked-in in advanced, but you decided to rebook your ticket to another schedule, there will be additional 40% charge of the total ticket price + the actual ticket price. (There will be no rebooking acceptance for those who checked-in in advanced within 24 hours and you file a rebook request on the website. This also applies to those who are already checked-in when they are in the port one hour before the travel time but decided to go home instead and did not proceed to travel – they won’t accept rebooking if you file a rebook request on the website. They will ask you to buy a new ticket with a new schedule instead. If you want to rebook your ticket but it is within 24 hours of your travel schedule it is best you contact the oceanjet office about this.)
You will be charged an additional ₱50 if you are not checked-in before departure schedule – meaning, if your travel schedule is 2 days from now and you did not checked-in in advanced, but you decided to rebook to another schedule, you will pay an additional ₱50 on top of the total ticket price (example, if you purchase cebu to tagbilaran tourist class = ₱800 + ₱50).
You will be charged an additional ₱100 if you are not checked-in before departure schedule – meaning, if your travel schedule is today 8 AM in the morning and you decided to rebook your ticket to another time and you filed a rebooking on the website at around 9 AM (which is already past the travel schedule of your ticket), you will be charged ₱100 on top of the actual ticket price (example, if you purchase cebu to tagbilaran tourist class = ₱800 + ₱100).
TAKE NOTE:
Online rebooking requests within 24hrs of departure date will be considered departed – meaning that if your travel schedule is tomorrow 8 AM and you filed a rebook request tonight, it is considered as within 24 hours of the departure date. You will be charged ₱100 for that on top of the total ticket price. So be sure to file a rebook request 2 days ahead of your travel schedule so that you will only be charged ₱50 of the rebooking fee.
Once online refund requests are submitted the ticket/s will immediately be voided – meaning that once you file a refund request on the website, your ticket will automatically be voided and canceled.
Once you file a rebook request, it is best and recommended to contact Oceanjet office OR message them in their facebook messenger and tell them that you just filed a rebook request so that they will work on it immediately.
